Broken drainage on Allen Avenue, Ikeja
The drainage channel along Allen Avenue near the Ikeja City Mall has been blocked for weeks, causing flooding during rainfall and making the road impassable for pedestrians. Raw sewage is now overflowing onto the street.
We have dispatched a drainage maintenance crew to Allen Avenue. Clearing works are scheduled to begin June 5th, 2026. We apologise for the delay caused by equipment logistics.
Street lights out on Oba Akran Avenue, Ikeja
All street lights along Oba Akran Avenue from the Guinness junction to the Computer Village roundabout have been non-functional for over a month. This has increased night-time crime and road accidents.
All 14 street lights on Oba Akran Avenue have been repaired and are now fully operational. New LED bulbs were installed. Thank you for reporting this issue.
No clean water supply in Karu Site 2, FCT for over 2 months
The borehole serving over 500 households in Karu Site 2 broke down in March 2026. Residents now buy water at ₦200 per jerrycan. FCT Water Board has not responded to multiple complaints. Children are getting waterborne diseases.
Primary school in Alimosho lacks qualified teachers
Alimosho Primary School has only 3 teachers for 12 classrooms. Pupils sit on the floor. The school has not received government funding for teacher recruitment in 2 years. Parents are withdrawing children.
Noise complaint from local bar on Opebi Road
A bar on Opebi Road plays loud music past midnight. However, this case was rejected because it falls under noise pollution regulation rather than civic infrastructure, and should be reported to the Environmental Health Unit instead.
National Hospital Abuja emergency ward lacks functional ventilators
Only 3 of 12 ventilators in the emergency ward are functional. Patients with respiratory conditions are being transferred to private hospitals. Ministry of Health has been notified and assigned.
